They have some kind of film on them they leave black oil or graphite. Iām not sure what it is on your drywall and on your hands.

I have bought these twice and just about to buy a third box. As far as screws go, there isn't much you can write. They do the job and cheaper than HD or Lowes. I do like they have the square drive rather than a cross-head although it would be nice if they included a drive bit.

I ordered #6 square drive coarse thread screws. That's what I received - or at least what the box said.However, about 20% of the screws were actually phillips-head, fine pitch self-drilling screws for use with metal studs.Not only did I have to sort them as I installed the drywall, now I have a pile of screws that are not usable for the intended purpose.

I use these screws for all kinds of fastening chores. Unlike the Philips head screws, these allow you to use a torque drive and square head bit, which doesn't slip out like the Philips head. Give them a try. I think like me, you'll use them from now on.
