This Item has a sensitive motion detector and very loud alarm built in, is also rechargeable which is very nice to not dealing with battery replacement. The design is slim and compact enough to fit below my seat. Now, build wise, it doesn’t look sturdy or strong enough, it could be easily broken with a hammer since the material is very lightweight and it seems to be cast-iron. Still is perfect for a quick errand or short trip, I keep it under my seat for these case scenarios

Overall this is a really good brake lock. It holds firm, sets and activates reliably, and is bright enough to be clearly seen. It is made of cast metal of some type. I did have an issue with the keys not working well with the lock. I sprayed some lock lubricant in the key hole and it helped some but it still snags on the mechanism and occasionally does not turn. I have never had an issue unlocking the lock, but I have had a few instances of fiddling with it to get the key to turn. This can be a problem, especially if the alarm is going off. I also am not really satisfied with the cable. I prefer loops on both ends so I can string my helmet on the lock, too. Because one loop is made of fabric, it can't be used for anything more than a lock reminder. Another issue is the charging port. It comes with a rubber plug but nothing to grip. Every time I need to charge it I have to find a tool to pry it open. I wish it came with a little tab to pull, it would go a long way towards convenience. For the price this is a great buy. I have already upgraded the cable and I encourage you to do the same. I'm glad I found it. If you are on a budget, I recommend it.

The only part I don’t like about it is everytime I have to lock it, I catch people’s attention because you have to push it downwards and it beeps incredibly loud. I mean, it’s good because you know that it’s doing its job in case somebody messes with your bike but I just don’t like how loud it is when I’m simply trying to lock it.Heavy duty feel to it though. Seems like a great heavy lock and it’s pretty sensitive enough for it to know it’s being messed with. Works as intended.

The is a great disc lock insofar as it goes on relatively easily and is definitely a great deterrent for theft.My only complaint with this particular item is that I haven't found an easy or obvious way to turn off the audible alarm. I've had similar devices where I worry it will be too sensitive and then drive everyone in the neighborhood nuts because it goes off when a big truck rolls down the street. For other devices there was a way to disable the alarm...not sure about this one. I realize I can just let the charge run out and not recharge it, but that's not the greatest solution - other nearly-identical devices on market in similar price range where clear instructions are provided on how to disarm the alarm sound...

I used this on my Yamaha R3 and it works perfectly. I usually park it outside when I take it to work so this is great to use for additional piece of mind when leaving it for extended periods of time.The alarm is VERY loud, I was surprised when I was testing. It is also very easy to put on, the strap is great so you don't forget to take it off before riding away. My absolute favorite part is the fact that it is rechargeable with any usb-c connector and the battery lasts forever. I've been using it for a couple months now on a single charge. It might be best to top it off once in a while but its definitely not needed to charge it often.Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add another layer of security for their motorcycle!

I got this lock for my offroad scooter.A quick look at the directions taught me how to use it.I was worried that this wouldn't attach to my scooter, but it does. I'm able to lock it right on the front disc. If someone tries to move the scooter it will start alarming and I doubt they could go very far with the lock on it.The only thing I have to complain about is the directions don't show how to use the reminder strap. I had to look at photos on the listing to figure out how to attach it to the lock.I'm happy with it!
