Purchased these for our mountain bikes. They were very lightweight. So if you don't position the bikes just exactly right they will tip over.

Look...the main purpose of these stands, was to hold the bikes up, in the garage! Does it do the job? Yes, well! But...these stands are not built like Ft. Knox! The included hardware is insufficient and I replaced it with quality nuts, bolts, and washers to strengthen the system and assure the stands will work to my satisfaction! These stands were not made in U.S.A., and the brackets are not welded exactly square, so when fully assembled, the very bottom of the stands are not perfectly square when placed on the floor! But...they work! So I am okay with the purchase!

Fine little stand. All the complaints of it being too small? BS. I put my Fat Bike with 4.5” wide tires. Plenty big enough. Ordering more of them for my road and tri bikes.Assembly was simple. Took all of 5 minutes. Next one will take 3.Seems to work best on front wheel which is not what i expected but prefer.

In order to support a bicycle, the horizontal members of a stand must be sturdy enough to sustain the leverage that the weight of the bike places on them. This the supports on this stand are not. They are cheap sheet metal, held to the base with Allen head bolts. If you attempt to use the force necessary to tighten them to the bases and keep them from flaring outwards, you will strip the hex heads of the bolts. I wondered why this stand was so much less expensive than most of the similar items. Now I know.
