Works very well, caught some decent bass on it. Has enough weight to it that you can get it out pretty far, just remember to finnese it a bit, twitches and varying your retrieve are the way to go

Good lures but I have started to install a short steel leader when fishing for blues. Lost two on one outing and kind of expensive to feed to blue fish

This is a great lure, I swap to it when the top water bite dies down and it rarely lets me down. Work it fast, work it slow, twitch it, whatever, it just works for inshore fishing around Texas and Louisiana.

Ignore those moaning about casting distance. Match the lure, rod & line and you'll be fine. I use them off the south coast (UK) and don't bother with any other type or brand anymore.
