I purchased these for my son to wear under his white baseball pants that were see through. These are comfortable on him, they fit great and the quality of these were well made. They have a front pocket as an option to add a boys cup. I wouldn't recommend these if you are shopping for sliding protection because there isn't thick padding. These are more for wearing the proper undergarments for games.

These are too pricey. This lovely purchase was the result of a very emancipatedly skinny child who decided to make a last minute flying leap into home instead of a proper slide which resulted in hip bruising and slide paranoia, which means he now needed PADDED shorts that covered his hips and held his cup. So, really, I have not found these absolutely necessary, except to make my child not paranoid about sliding into home.This also made my previous Amazon purchase of two equally acceptable cup underwear shorts without pads totally useless as he won’t wear those now, even though they are totally acceptable, but I’m sure I cannot unload those on eBay as it would be totally gross to try to sell somebody’s used baseball underwear.So, the lesson to be learned for all moms is to buy these in the first place. Don’t go to Academy, because they won’t have his size. Everything is picked over. Everything is always picked over. Buy them here and pay too much.Now, if anyone has a solution to the need for a pair of boys, medium, super extra long baseball pants, please let me know as his are now high waters, but the next size up will not be able to even be held up with a belt. And if you have any resources for a men’s size 10 rubber cleats for little league, let me know. I am sure I will pay too much for those items as well if I ever find them.

My son needs underwear so he can wear his cup during baseball and be safe. These underwear are perfect for his little body, he's only 9 but very skinny so they fit for his size.
