Please note that The older 3M Scotchgard has a paper backing with the 3M logo on it. The New 3M Scotchgard Pro Series has no logos on its plastic backing and is a high-quality 8mil (.008") thick clear polyurethane film.
CHEAPER MATERIALS ARE NOT THE SAME IN THICKNESS AND WILL NOT PROTECT OR REMOVE LIKE 3M SCOTCHGARD.

These were just clear but very easy to install. Read the directions they go right on to protect my doors from my fingernail scratches

These are great to protect your door handle are from getting scratched up. Went on easy, don't show and protect well.

I'm not new to installing protective film. These are pretty much self explanatory. I received a squeegee (cut in half) because the access area is a little smaller. A small empty spray bottle, alcohol swabs, a small lint free cloth and (5) 3M Scotchgard door cup films. All packaged nicely, with good instructions. I put these on my 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.I used warm water and 2 drops of Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo for my spray mixture (shake for a minute after combining). I wore nitrile gloves while handling. I cleaned the door cup with the alcohol swab and followed it with the lint free cloth to ensure that no lint or dust is in the door cup. I would then spray the door cup with my J&J solution and then spray my finger tips. I would then carefully peal back the paper that holds the door cup film (do not peal back on the film as you can stretch it or deform the edge). Once the door cup film is off the paper, I then sprayed the sticky side with the J&J solution. This allows you to put the door cup film onto the vehicle and move it around to get it in the exact location you desire. Use your finger tips to hold the film to the vehicle and use the squeegee to squeegee the water out. The film will want to move around, just keep adjusting it and reapply pressure to the top or bottom of the film with your finger tips and then squeegee the opposite side. Eventually, the liquid will have been squeegeed out from under and it will stay in place. Allow this to dry, checking from time to time for any air bubbles that may appear and if they do, gently work them out with the squeegee.This is a 5 star product, which I'm rating at 4 stars due to 1 of my 5 cups, once applied, the edge did not look clean like the other 4 cups. (see photo). This particular cup was my 4th cup that I applied, so I was in a groove, I'm not sure why this one ended up like this. It's still serving it's purpose, but if 4 cups could turn out perfect, why not 5?The only other issue I want to note is that the back gate handle is not shaped the same as the side doors. This cup takes a little bit more work, but still applies nicely. I only mention it, because I felt a little concerned due to the shape of the cup, but again, it works out great if you keep gently squeegeeing the liquid out.Overall, great product, I would not hesitate to purchase these to protect your door cups from finger nail scratches. Without these, in time, you'll definitely end up with finger nail scratch marks on your Jeep.
