This is a very pretty looking cup, pink coloured but with gold edging and a gold bee on the inside. The gold edging does look consistent, with no missing bits or extra bits. Compared to other mugs and cups we own, this is quite heavy, it is certainly not fine china.It doesn't mention anything on the cup or saucer about me dishwasher or microwave safe, though the listing does, and it isn't. Had the listing not said, I would still say it isn't safe due to the gold edging.

This is a very pretty little set especially for pink lovers. The cup is the nice and wide bowl variety, so the drink cools quickly. Good for a small cappuccino. The spoon is a bit of a let down very poor quality and I would say kinked probably to make it sit on the rim? I got this for a friend who hates mugs and I think she will appreciate the cup and saucer. It came well packaged and protected and in a nice presentation box. I was a little disappointed that it’s more ceramic than fine porcelain but at least it is a nice thin ceramic. Disappointed too that it is not dishwasher safe. The gold rim certainly makes it not suitable for the microwave. Not sure about the decorative effect of the bee inside …not my ‘cup of tea’! I think it’s a bit overpriced for the lower quality of the cup and saucer and it is just for one set.

I got it as a birthday gift. I love tea, purple and bees and butterflies so for me its perfect. Packed well and came damaged. Stand is a bit flimsy but this isn't really meant for teens or carelessness. Not fine china so a bit thick but that helps it to be sturdy. I wish it had matching cake plates or a serving plate to go with it even as an add on. I love it and would recommend to others.

I bought this for my mother for Mothers day, she was thrilled with her gift.She then told me her first use, it made a rather loud noise and then cracked, when she added her tea.My mother does not drink tea boiling hot, so i am disgusted this cracked first use. No point in returning as would cost more to return.I am so disappointed it cracked and is now in the bin. Such a shame as she loved this gift . :(

The seller’s photographs are so varied and poor quality it’s hard to tell the color. I wanted this to be a prettier lavender, after all it’s what I put into Amazon search bar. But it’s just not.It’s not worth keeping to me. Not a bright happy purple but I dull, very gray purple.Otherwise it’s a good cup, bit overpriced of course. Very sturdy for the style of teacup - it’s slightly thicker than delicate English made ones so it would be good for teens or even girls. Included funky teaspoon is junk. Sharp edges, stamped out cheap light weight metal. No point in it, just cheapens the whole thing. Very cliche but sometimes true “made in China” quality.
