Not the intended use, but I actually got this as a makeshift baptismal, haha. It's about twice as deep as most bathtubs and large enough for an adult to sit in with bent knees. The material seems thick and not likely to spring a leak unless abused. It was pretty easy to put together and folds down flat when not in use. Nice that they included a couple of large ice-block molds for when you do want to use it as an ice bath. Well made, good size.

I looked this over, and for the price point as far as ice baths go, I was not hopeful. I was pleasantly surprised when it came. The material that makes up the tub is nice and thick, no worries about rips or leaks. It does assemble onto a PVC pipe frame, but it doesn't feel or look cheap once it's all together. It's oblong, which is way more comfortable than those barrel frames, but with that in mind it does take quite a bit more water and ice. The thermometer seems to be accurate, and the ice molds were nice...but time consuming, I ended up just buying bags of ice rather than actually using the molds.

What a great choice for a personal ice bath tub. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it arrived after I ordered it, and how well it was packaged. I conducted research prior to choosing this portable ice bath tub and found this one to be an excellent option. The quality of materials and construction was ideal for my needs. Setup was easy and remains sturdy while entering, and exiting the tub. I highly recommend this ice bath tub as one for consideration.

I've tried 3 different oval shaped tubs and the others didn't have the male thread attached to the vinyl tub so they were all returned unused. This one assembled smoothly, had all of he parts and holds it's shape beautifully. It's cold enough where I live that I don't need the ice cube trays so I haven't tried that, maybe this spring... I love that the Ice cube trays are collapsable for storage. Very nice touch.In addition, you'll receive a thermometer, that floats and works well. I don't know if it would handle freezing water, but I've just been taking it in, and I toss it in to see how cold the water is before I get in it.Overall, a much better kit than any of the others I tried. GET THIS ONE

We have gotten a lot of use out of ice baths over the years, because we use them for a number of things, not just taking an ice bath. The sturdiness stands up well to other models we have tried, and we are pleased with how easy it was to put together, clean, and take down. We like that the inside material is a non-slip material, and that there is a thick layer of insulation. The oblong shape makes this ice bath much more comfortable to stay in, because you are not trying to squeeze yourself into a round shape. This ice bath also comes with a few extras, namely the ice making blocks and a thermometer. That is something we've never seen before. Five stars! Highly recommend!
