Within 6mos bottom of edging (the part in the ground) rusted through. I did my entire landscaping with this edging. Not only was it a waist of my time and money, I now have to do it all over again with a different edging solution.

This rustic metal border looks great. It is installed around the rose bushes in front of my house. I did my best to press 2 inches into ground but discovered you do have to dig a trench even in softer soil. Had to hire a landscaper to install. I do like the look and sturdiness of the metal.

I have tried a few different edging materials and not been happy with them for various reasons. I love this product. I have just finished creating a new bed and have used it once again. I have a lot of rebar about and I do need to add it to keep it firmly in place but I would have expected to use some kind of support. I love the rustic look. Easy to use I didn't have to call on my husband once. I am going to pull out the previous edgings I have used and replace them with this product. Highly recommend.

I used this to install around the bottom of my shed digging a little trench out first and then back filling the dirt around it, as the bottom of my shed metal has kind of rusted away and lots of water gets in.It is strong enough to Hammer as long as the soil is a little loose or wet.It was easily cut with the angle grinder.Easy to drill through with metal hex head screws.

I wanted something natural and rustic as my border, without spending tons of money. I did not like the plastic stuff. This is awesome. It was a bit hard getting it stabilized deep in the dirt, but I did it. I really like the natural look.

The edging is easy to roll out and form around corners. The height is perfect for keeping mulch in the bed during heavy rain in Florida. The rusted accent look incredible in my garden. Best boarder ever.

So, no edging that's meant to go into the ground is "easy to install". This is as close as you'll get. It does NOT bend out of shape easily, in fact, in soft ground you can use a hammer, tho i wouldn't recommend it. If there are roots, you'll need a trench digger, or such, to just cut thru, but as long as there are no rocks you can just pound it in. It does bend if you need to go around things, but it's super rugged. It cuts reasonable easily. I cant speak to longevity yet, but I see no reason to think it wouldn't last a long time. I've got the 10" and the 6", in both corrugated and wide corrugated and all are good. The ends aren't crimped like the top and bottom, so if they are exposed, you'll want to cover them somehow, or just bemd it over with pliers.

The first 3 of these I ordered came round and in good shape. Needed one more and it came squished. I'll have to try to bend it back in shape when I install it, as no more 10 inch is available.

Item is nice, installs easily and is sturdy once in place. However, the ends are sharp and not crimped like the top so there's a serious cut hazard if it's exposed and it bends out of shape fairly easily.
