Seven inch rollers and covers are almost impossible to find. Even paint stores only carry the nine inch size or the professional style. The small size made for cabinets and other small projects are not good for outside house siding. I really appreciate the fact that I can find almost anything on Amazon!!!

Had to paint a steel roof and it fit exactly! Did my 12x20 foot shed in less then an hour and is fluffy enough to roll the groves.

I like to use a smaller, 7-inch roller when painting. They aren't as heavy when loaded with paint and are easier to get into small areas. I discovered the Wooster brand of roller cover on Amazon when I could no longer find them at our local paint stores and hardware stores. Wooster brand roller covers are amazing! The nap is just long enough to hold a good amount of paint, allowing you to cover easily in one coat. If you care about your walls (and also want to give your arms and shoulders a break), use 7-inch rollers and these Wooster covers the next time you paint.

This is a 4 inch roller cover with a 1.5 inch core that is built very well. The core is heavy duty and doesn't deform even when soaking the cover in water when cleaning it. Zero fuzz or pilling of the cover fabric. The 3/8 nap is good for general purpose use on smooth and semi-smooth surfaces, especially when working with no or low gloss paints.It's held up very well to multiple cleanings so far (soap and water to get latex paint out), which is pretty impressive for an inexpensive cover. Very pleased and plan to pick up a couple more.

i am a pro painter, i don't know why this cover is half inch shorter than the roller, i use Wooster Brush R017-9 Sherlock Roller Frame
