Great flies!! I hooked a great sized brown trout with this, not to mention a few smaller fish as well. Fluffy and buggy, these worked great fishing at our local creek

I would typically use a beaded head on my Woolly Bugger, but these are well tied and a great value on a 12 pack. Woolly Buggers are typically a great streamer pattern and should be in just about every fly box due to their versatility.

As someone who enjoys fly fishing every chance I get, I couldn’t be happier with these Woolly Bugger flies. The quality of the materials is outstanding—durable hooks, well-tied threads, and realistic patterns. These flies held up through multiple casts and strikes without falling apart, even after catching a few feisty trout. What really sets them apart is the variety of colors and sizes, which makes it easy to match the hatch or adapt to different water conditions. Whether it’s a fast-moving stream or a calm lake, these flies deliver results. If you’re looking to stock your fly box with a reliable, versatile, and effective set of flies, these are a must-buy. Worth every penny!

I Ordered these wooly bugger flies to add to my growing collection of flies I use for trout fishing.Where I live and fish , the trout fishing season is finished so I won't be able to try these out until my annual trip to Eastern Utah to visit with friends and family. There you can find some awesome small but fast running streams in the foothills. Preferred time of year is late Spring / early Summer. Also we've had great fishing in the Fall when I think these wooly buggers would be best suited. These flies are looking great... bigger than I usually tie on, but … bigger flies – bigger fish! There's lots of volume in the well tied on body and the hooks are fresh and sharp.I'm excited now to try these out.

My two favorite go-to flies are bead head nymphs and woolly buggers. They are my favorites because they consistently produce (trout and small mouth in my neck of the woods). Most of my woolly buggers are black and olive because...you guessed it...they work! I most often use bead head woolly buggers because I like just a touch of weight. There are situations, however, where I am fishing skinny water or I just want a super-slow sink and I don't want the bead head. I ordered this set of Feeder Creek black woolly buggers for those situations. Upon arrival I noted a few differences from the ones pictured in the ad. The ones I received have a subtle purple-ish tinge to the marabou (see photos). It's not entirely bad since the color is understated, however, the ad photos show straight black marabou. The body in the ad photos is a puffy black chenille with the feather wrap. The ones I received have a more compact body with the feather wrap as well as a wire wrap. In my opinion this is actually a plus. I like the segmentation and flash the wire suggests and the wire itself tends to impart a bit more durability to the body. On the subject of durability, the heads of all the flies are finished with a bit of epoxy. It's not exactly consistent between each fly, however, the purpose is to keep the threads from being picked loose and in that it is adequate. I also like the touch of crystal flash in the marabou. The price per fly is a touch over $1.80. Good, but not any crazy deal. For the price point, these seem to be nice quality (actual durability is still an unknown) and they will be used in the next month or two as the fall bite gets under way. Four stars for now. Perhaps a higher rating in an edited review after I get to fish them.

✍️ I haven't tried them yet, but these appear to be effective Woolly Bugger flies for fishing. The body is fuzzy. The hackle is wrapped very well and give the fly a life like look. The wings and tails are feathery. There is no bead head. Just an eye hole. They color is a true jet black. The hooks are stiff and sharp. I'm very happy with these.🏗️Design: 9/10💪Durability: 8/10🤖Functionality: 8/10💰Value: 9/10Star Rating :5⭐ - Product Exceeds Expectations4⭐ - Product Meets Expectations3⭐ - Product Meets Expectations with Minor Flaws2⭐ - Product Meets Expectations with Major Flaws1⭐ - Product Does Not Meet Expectations🙏🏻Thank you for reading my review❗

Product came in the time frame as specified by Amazon. This wooly bugger size and color (Size:12, Color: White) is just awesome when fly fishing for crappie. Attracts bass and bluegill too. Have a couple of other colors I'd like to try as soon as I can.
