Urbansential Carbide Lathe Tools set of 3
Every wood lathe carbide tool in the set extends to about 17 inches, brass ferrules included, and is equipped with 6.7 inch shaft with carbide tip made from high-speed steel for superior durability over high carbon steel, ensuring long-term reliability. The handles, crafted from 9.84 inches of treated beech wood, offer both sturdiness and a comfortable hold, elevating the user experience.

I bought this set of carbide wood turning chisels. the box arrived sooner than expected so that was good. Each chisel comes with cellophane on the end, in a piece of styrofoam, stacked in a box, with an additional small plastic box for extra carbide tips and hold-down Torx screws. Also included are three small rusty Torx drivers, so there's no need to let them rust in your shop. The chisels arrived, box-in-a-box, but they're sharp so, they broke through the styrofoam and the first box, then the second box. fortunately no damage. the small plastic box also opened spilling the extra parts and screws. the carbide tips were intact but two of the hold down screws is were long so the carbide tip was loose so i replaced them with others that I could tighten them down properly. And oh, by the way, have your own Torx driver handy because the provided ones are junk. Other companies chisels might cost more but remember guys, you get what you pay for.

Reviewing: Woodturning Carbide Lathe Tools, 17” Full Size Wood Turning Tool Set of 3 Rougher Detailer Finisher, Includes Replacement Cutter Inserts from Urbanesential.Novice lathe user here. I found these chisels to be very easy to use. Using them on sustainably sourced semi-hardwood and they cut quite nicely. I really appreciated the solidity of the steel shaft and the long handle -- plenty of leverage for good control. I did have to contact Urbanesential's support for a missing carbide, and I found them to be responsive and helpful. 100% Satisfied with their support. (Thank you Sarah!)

Theses tools work great and the delivery was right on expected date. The only improvement I S up guest to the manufacturer is to provide a better fitting wrench. The one I received does not fit tight to the screw head.

I'm well pleased with the tools. Extra blades were included which is very useful. Additional blades should be offered as a purchasing option. I have a task to turn almost 200 spindles that require frequent tool changes due to the pattern configuration, so these are very useful for my process.

These new tools however were super sharp, buttery smooth, and very nice. I feel they are a little expensive, but I guess "you get what you pay for" applies here.
