This Cookbook Stand comes ready to gift. There is even a note card waiting for your message and signature.It requires a tiny bit of assembly - the black metal bar that keeps the cookbook from slipping off needs to be put into place, and, as it should be, it is a snug fit, so it takes a little patience and care. Be careful not to bend the hinged lip when you are pressing the bar into place!The stand is adjustable to a degree - there is a rubber like tip on the bottom of the leg so you can move the leg out to different angles.The painting is smooth and even and the colors are vibrant. The wood is smooth and good quality.The holder will accommodate different sized cookbooks - mine is just a 3 ring binder and it stays in place nicely. The space between the board and the black retention stand is just over 1.5".I love this stand and wouldn't hesitate to give these as gifts!

This was something i was a belt o share with my sister after her surgery which just made her heart light up! I love the quality of the board and selection of wood its crafted from, the size that’s big enough and heavy enough to holster up a heavy cook book or instructions manual yet still very compact in size not taking up too much room on the counter. They meaningful design is absolutely PERFECT, i love the font selected, everything is spelled correctly with perfect letter spacing. This would make a delightful gift, it’s affordable and something that will bring lasting memories. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Item comes packaged in a nicely marked box. The board is shrink wrapped and the box contains some decorative confetti, so would be good for gifting. It even contains a "Best wishes" card.The board is quality wood. I don't detect any rough spots. The painted writing is nice. I don't see any issues with potential fading/chipping/peeling. The metal rod slips in and out of the pre-drilled holes nicely. The hinges works well. There are anti-slip pads on the bottom of the board and leg to keep it from sliding around on the counter. It is truly adjustable for multiple angles and folds up nicely for storage. It even has a cute little rope for hanging.
