I picked up a jo gun 4 Star for freeIt needed rebuilt.I acquired 2 new gamma match for it.Thay were direct wire the coax to them.Now a 100' of coax time's 2 gammas is a lot of stuff to handle with a 20' long been antenna.So I wired the coax connectors to the gammas and a fixed them by drilling holes in the gusset on the beem and waterproof them on both sides after the coax was installed.So once I got the beem mounted to the mast I could attach the coax.This was over 2 years ago and that are still working fine.Think out side the box.

I was surprised at the high quality of these SO-239 connectors. I would recommend them for ham radio use.

I wasn't expecting too much when I ordered these but I must say they are well made. I replaced some cheap connectors on my switch box with these and they work great. They are made solid with decent materials and work well. You get what you pay for, what more can I say...

I typically shy away from purchasing ham radio supplied on Amazon as it’s all cheap Chinese junk, but these are the exception. I ordered as I was in a pinch for time but found them to me much higher quality than I expected. Time will tell, but I was very pleasantly surprised and would order again

Used for amateur radio UnUns.Ordered using Prime as I was short on time and was expecting to have to replace them later on but it turned out these are very good quality. Better than what the main 4 UK retailers sell. I went on to order some 'N' type from them.Highly recommended.

These are fine for what they are. However, the bushings are (apparently) sided for RG58 NOT RG8-X. The description says it will work with both, but you can't really fit the RG-8X into the bushing.Now if you need it for something other than RG-8X, probably fine. They seem ok and once I jammed the coax in anyway, they work fine.

The connector went on the cable with no issues. I was using super8 cable from thewireman. This is similar to LMR400. I've attached the dimensions that I used to strip the cable and the size of the crimp tool I used. This seemed to work fine. One drawback of course with the solder center pin is the potential to leave solder on the outside of that pin. Just be careful of that. No issues with it melting during soldering. I'm using these in a setting where they are not directly exposed to the weather (one end inside the house, the other in an enclosed steel box)
