Installed several months ago, i'm not a plumber, I just play one on TV and there was no exposed butt crack. They were simple to use, seemed like good quality, meaning solid. Bottom line there are no leaks, and i'm always checking..

Unfortunately it was a 1/4” OD rather than a 3/8” OD. My mistake…, by the time I was going to install them I was 3 days over the 30 day return policy.

The people at WiseWater have produced an excellent product. Their angle stop/shut valve, (3/8" O.D Compression x 1/2" FNPT), with quarter turn works better than we hoped, with NO leaks.Also, the chrome plated brass fittings for our kitchen and bathroom aesthetically are very attractive.and again, with NO leaks!Their 1/2" FIP X 3/8" OD Compression, 1/4 Turn Shut Off Valve, is designed to interface with any universal 1/2 inch pipe, such as brass fittings with PEX pipe.Yes, I read all the reviews up to this post, and I had the direct opposite experience with so-called quality valves from Home Depot, at $10.00 each = $50.00, and I am a "Pro" member. All FIVE leaked!We have converted our second home into a duplex and needed all said five units + ASAP.I bought five valves from said store, only to experience ALL five valves leaking. Thus, because of true disappointment, living rurally, 1.2 hours away, and having one dear family member needing a home and kidney, we needed our project done ASAP, Thus, I got on Amazon and ordered two different sets, two sets of five valves from two different sellers. I was not going to chance another set-back.Why two sets? As said, this project needed done ASAPFrankly, as I installed Wisewater's valves and the other sellers (although, both good quality), together, side by side, I preferred Wisewaters. I used all five of Wisewaters valves and three of the other seller's valves, with NO leaks..I installed ALL of Wisewater's valves, because they go on a little deeper, and with the tape they supply (the others didn"t, not even Home Depot) I have NO Leaks, none, zip, notta!Questions, please ask. Amazon will patch you through and one of us will step-up to help.

Good valves but the pex clamp rings were missing. Luckily I had enough from a previous project so not a big deal.
