Nifty product and cheap too, but you get what you pay for. First, know that the light emitted is very cool and this product does not allow for any color temperature adjustments. The description says the color temperature is 3000K. Well, there is no way that the product I received emits 3000K light. No way whatsoever. I'd say 5000K. Second, I found that each of the 2 lights I received is quite capable of turning itself on, and I mean that quite literally. All the functions on the remotes work as intended, nevertheless, the lights I received sometimes come on without me turning them on. And no, it's not my memory playing tricks on me. This has happened multiple times. Very strange. Third, the brightness of the two lights I received has not remained equivalent. It was equivalent initially but not anymore. In short order, one light became noticeably less bright than the other. Not a big problem if the lights are used separately, but if you want to use them in a paired fashion (example: lighting two complementary pictures that hang next to one another on the same wall), you are likely not to be pleased by the result. So, bottom line, these lights have some issues, but they do achieve their basic function (indoor spot lighting with placement flexibility), and they are cheap all things considered. Hence, 3 stars. If these were any more expensive, I'd only give 1 star.

While an inexpensive item and it does light what I wanted it to do... the unit turns itself on, both of them and not at the same time, many times throughout the day. Worst is when you wake up to a dim light because the batteries are about dead from running all night. I even had Amazon replace them under warranty, same thing happened on the next set. Plan to buy another unless you want to run through AA batteries.

These lights are awesome! I have a few pictures that needed a light and these make them look like they are in a museum or art gallery.The black with gold accents are perfect. The USB charging systems works flawlessly and the range of colors and settings - along with the genius magnetic attachment, make this a must have. I included a picture as an example. You can make out the unit along the top and can see the effect in a mostly dark room.The battery can be removed for charging without disrupting anything else. The remote works great and has lots of options. I left a fully charged light on at @ 50% brightness and it was going strong after over 8 hours of use. The next day I also let it got for another 8 hours and it was still working at the same light level. The batteries seem to provide a great amount of run time.Mounting the base unit - the package comes with four screws and wall anchors if you have a drywall wall to mount your item on. The backing plate even has a level installed to make sure you get it perfect.I love these and will purchase a few more as I upgrade my displays.

This is a gorgeous, functional, and reasonably priced picture light. Aesthetically, it looks very nice on top of any artwork. It has a gorgeous gold color (not too light nor too dark) and will look good in any room in the house. There are numerous reasons to love this picture light: 1) It is rechargeable (no need for batteries or electrical connection); 2) the light itself is magnetic and can rotate up or down; 3) it comes with remote control that controls not only the on and off switch but also dimming and changing colors. 3) the remote control also allows you to set a timer up to 6 hours; 4) the batteries last a long time so do you do not have to recharge so many times; 5) if you have to recharge, you do not have to remove the whole unit -- you can just pull the battery panel out on the right side and leave the light and the rest of the panel intact on the wall; 6) it comes with a variety of colors. Aside from the usual cool, warm and neutral colors, you can also use other colors (red, yellow, green, blue, violet, pink even a combination of yellow, red and green); 7) it is competitively priced and is a bargain compared to other brands that have less features. I loved this unit so much, I had to buy another one. I highly recommend this picture light -- you will be sure to get your money's worth with this one.
