These work great with any flash, hot shoe, or studio if you have the right cord. They do not transfer TTL information, which is a challenge, but they did not advertise that they do. It made it easy to use my 3rd party flashes (Alien Bees and Canon) with the Westcott FJ X3 trigger.

Works great. Sets off any flash with a pc style cord. You have to BUY the cord separately!!Make sure the thing is charged up prior to use!

I have a few flashpoint speedlights for events and an AD200. I also have a Neewer Strobe that my workhorse. But Neewer just cant quite figure out a 1 trigger solution for flash its ecosystem. So Ive taken a step into Westcott lighting. Starting out with an FJ400, buying an FJ200 isnt in the cards right now. But what this "tiny" trigger does allow me to do is use my AD200 equivalent as a fill in the meantime. Albeit I have to set the power manually. Not a huge deal just what ill have to deal with until i Get an FJ200.

This product gives me the ability to use flash for hairlights and fill lights. It doens't come with any attachments such as a PC Sync cord. And, the flash units have to be adjusted manually to correct exposure. Westcott seems to sell everything as a separate part.

I have several speed lights that are not of westcott brand which is my brand of choice because of it's universal use with all of my cameras. These allow me to trigger those flashes using my westcott trigger. The lack of 5 stars is not because the product doesn't work. It's just because the additional flashes are manual only. Not manual only in the sense that you can't use TTL but manual in the sense that you can't set any values for the additional flashes. You have to set it on the flash itself. I have a couple of godox flashes and a godox trigger but they only work with my Sony camera. I have Nikon, Canon, Fuji, and Olympus as well which is why I use westcott. It's universal. This product makes setting up multiple lights possible.
