Flexible. Easy to work with. Adhesive is strong. Use prep wipe prior to attaching. You can use rubbing alcohol to clean area where to be attached as well.

This worked pretty good. I used it on my drafty entry door and door seal. I tried several ways to close the gaps but this has worked the best.

front door had gotten some space that let my expensive hotair outside for my street cats to enjoy. this rubber gasketwas easy to cut and apply and kept most of the warm airwhere it was most needed.had to put out boxes with blankets for the kitties and theyreally seem to like this better than the hot air that leaked out.

I bought this because my outside door is warped and does not meet the door jamb on the bottom side. I cut some of this down to one inch and tried to put it on the door jamb. It did not work well because it made the door stick and hard to open. So I put some on the outside of the door side and the bottom of door as described. It does stick very well to the door. It was easy to install. It does eliminate the draft that was coming in. The door still sticks a bit but I will have to check it out. It does improve the door seal. I should have someone just check it out and see what else they can do to the door. The front door has a screen door so I did not need this. It does have a bit of a smell but air will help it.

This works wonderfully so far. I purchased this because after installing my doggie door it left quite a gap where bugs, air and dust could get through. Now that I know about this product even if I didn’t have a doggie door, this stuff works great on keeping cold or hot air out. I took into consideration another person’s review and I re-rolled it in the opposite direction than it came.(sticky side in) That way, the tension of the rolled curve would be inward towards my door, the part that has the sticky side. I let it set for a few days in room temperature that way. I also ordered, at the same time, extra double-side sticky tape, for extra adhesion. I did this based on other people‘s reviews. I wanted to be sure that this sticks the first time round.Side-note: my siding glass door, closer to the bottom track, had a screw in it. Instead of pre drilling the vinyl, I unscrewed it and re-screwed right through the vinyl, and it worked perfectly. No pre drilling was necessary and it did not mess with my cut outs. However, do as you wish. I am pretty anal and I cut out all the track marks on the vinyl so I didn’t leave a gap at the tracks. Once you get to the install point, you’ll understand what I’m saying. After I measured and cut what i needed, I applied extra double sided tape on top of the stuff that already came on this product. It’s 20°F at night and so far it has held up. I Will see how it holds up when it’s 110°F here in a couple of months. I installed the second week of December 2024 and as of today 2/9/25 have had no issues. On another note, I would not call this an issue however, I installed this really close to the glass so when it is cold, it does rub on the glass a bit in a few areas and you can hear it when you open/close the door but, I don’t mind. I wanted it to get as close as possible to the glass to keep out the draft that was coming in. When it is warmer out, it does not make any sound. So decide how close you want it to your glass and make sure you adhere it with precision. It does help if you have a second person holding the excess vinyl straight if you want to do it in the manner, I did it. If you don’t add the extra adhesive like i did, no worries cause you will peel the protective layer off the tape as you go.

This weather stripping is working very well. It is a little heavier than the clear type that I had been using. I liked the clear type, but my cats would manage to tear pieces of the stripping off. This Silicone seal strip is stopping my door draft very well. My cats are leaving it alone and cannot tear it apart. It also adheres to my door very well.
