great for cold winter days

One of the downsides of being stuck in a wheelchair with limited leg usage is that my elderly mother is ALWAYS cold. I guess it makes sense because her mobility is severely limited. It's hard for your body to warm itself up when you can't move much. I got her this shawl blanket because it's easy for her slip on when sitting in her chair. The back doesn't go down as far for her but the convenience of this basically being a blanket poncho she can put over her head shouldn't be understated. She uses this all the time. Great for seniors with mobility issues.

This wearable blanket was really cute and extremely comfortable. The color is absolutely stunning and I love the cute little pockets to the front. However, I hated the button it immediately broke. I haven’t worn it for very long and it’s already broken and it’s only been washed just once to me that’s a bit weird Considering it was barely used. Either way it is a very cute poncho/wearable blanket and I did enjoy wearing it and it is still extremely soft. It’s a really nice thing to drape over you during the winter time.

This shawl blanket is made well. The material is very soft and the blanket is nice and warm.The back of the shawl is long, so it covers your back down to your thighs. Other shawl blankets are much shorter and stop at your back. I like this longer length.The front of the shawl is short - coming to around your waist. When you sit down, there is no way to cover your legs, so you still might want a separate blanket for your legs. I have another (different brand) shawl blanket where the front is longer than the back. It's nice because I can cover my legs with it when sitting - so overall, I do like my other blanket better for that reason.The blanket is lightweight (which I like) and is very comfortable to have over your shoulders.The pockets are handy - just an extra bonus to have.I've only been using this blanket for several weeks now, but so far it is holding up very well. There is no pilling and no shedding - hopefully that will continue with additional use over time.The blanket went through the washing machine and drying without issue. Like most things washed this way, there was a little bit of lint in the dryer, but no more than I would expect.We're using this blanket at home right now, but plan on bring it to the lake cabin to use there. It will be great for cool evenings sitting on the deck, watching the stars.PROS:- Lightweight blanket, yet warm- Comfortable to have over youCONS:- Front is short, so won't cover your legs when sitting
