This dome is watertight and works well to capture those 50/50 or above/under shots. You have to use it in a pretty special setting where both below and above water landscapes are picturesque. The photos won’t come out great if only your above or under is pretty, so it can be tough to get a good shot. My Action 5 camera fit with no issues. The acrylic dome can scratch easily, so always use the provided protective cover.

If you do a lot of shooting video in the water, then you have probably seen the kind of shot that lets you see half in and half out. This is what this thing is designed to handle. Otherwise it is a bit limited.I would not try to take this on any deep dives.Also, when in the water, diving or snorkeling, you are constantly coming into contact with things that can be rough, like sand or equipment, boats and rocks. This being rather scratch prone plastic can be an issue. You have to be very careful to not bang the dome against things and where you set it down.Neat, but kind of a niche product for very specific shots with very specific cameras.

Camera fits well. Handle is comfortable Seems to seal well (long term is unknown). It's kind of a niche product, and really only necessary if you want to capture that "over/under" look, which you can't do without an accessory like this.

This seems like a very unique innovation. I don’t know who thought of it but curiosity got the best of me. The product comes well packaged and contains a cover for the acrylic bubble to help with storage and avoiding scratches. The sizing is accurate but it is quite large compared to the tiny camera. The only side note or advice is this. To install your camera into this bubble’s mount, you MUST remove the rubber protective ring that is around the circumference of your DJI Action 5 lens. Other than that, your only limitation is your creativity.
