Bought 2 from Amazon, both failed, bought an oem pump after the 1st 2 failed and it works fine. I had to replace my head gasket and take my head to a machine shop and have it repaired after the 1st pump failed. Both impellers would not turn with shaft, the impellers have a larger hole than oem which caused the half tear drop to not be sufficient to hold the impeller properly, and now they say I have had them too long to get my money back, guess if you buy junk that’s what you get…..nothing

I sent both water pumps back the water pump I need is a water pump that fits a 1977 Johnson 75 hp please let me know if you have one to fit my motor

Rebuilt a water pump in a 1999 Johnson 60 hp outboard. All the parts you need (and then some) and they all fit like they were supposed to. Pump works much better now.

Finally, a kit that fit.I ordered 2 other kits - both with Tstat springs - from other suppliers and both have them had incorrect parts. That is, the wear ring that fits inside the housing was taller than the housing. So, the housing wouldn't seat.THIS KIT FIT PERFECTLY.

Items in the kit seem to be of good quality and I realize it’s a universal kit to fit many years and models but it was missing two very important O-rings.

Seems my Evinrude 1973 model 65 hp is the bastard child of OMC. They changed a lot from the first year made. My 1973 is totally different from the 1974 model I have seen. Power head the same but all below it is different. I wish that this kit fit as I can't find one that does. OMC part number is 385447 for kit. The impeller from this kit fits as dose a seal. Rest does not. I need the stamped steel housing impeller rides against.
