The float switch cannot directly control solenoid valves or high-power relays, AC contactors, etc.A small relay(like HH54P) is needed for transition.
The double float switch can be used to control the liquid level of the water tank, pool, sink, fish tank, etc. (drain or water), or to make the upper and lower alarm switch of the liquid level.
The contacts inside are made of a reed switch with very high sensitivity.
The action range of the two floats of the double float switch is 10 mm. If the demand control range is large, two float switch combinations can be used, so that there is a large stroke to ensure that the pump does not start frequently.
Normal water intake process activated by the float switch below, and the float switch above stops working. The drain is activated by the float switch above and the lower float switch stops working.

I was building an electronic float valve for 5-gallon water jugs so that I could autofill them from my RO system without waiting for them to get full, this was one of the very few float valves that would easily fit inside a 5-gallon jug and was built or at least appears built for potable water being entirely stainless and sealed... Having the two floats is overkill but as I said size and being safe for potable water were my primary needs and this fit the bill, now with a relay and electronic valve I can fill my water jugs unattended...

Works well as a controller for a pump. Lowest float turns the pump on, the upper float turns it off when properly wired.The center tube is sealed and that is where the actual electrical switching happens. So, I am thinking it may work even to keep a fuel tank full. Not saying it is ok, just saying that what I see looks promising in that role.It looks very well made and all steel except for the wiring. I have not experimented with changing the floats (apparently changing them changes how the switch operates). It was already set the way I needed it, so all I did was wire it up.So far, I am impressed with this float switch and I think it does a great job. Like I say, it is really more versatile and does more than I needed. I like and recommend it.
