This item was not magnetic. It does not work on my new LG front loader washing machine. I returned it and bought the Magoog washer door prop which is magnetic and works great.

Cute and all, ut it pops off easily and I’m always finding it on the floor because someone’s lightly pumped it. Perhaps my machine is just too wide or something.

Great for keeping your washing machine door open so it doesn't get stinky and musty inside. It works on basically any size door. You just slide it around until you find a good spot that keeps the door open without being too open. I have ours about halfway up the washer. Easy to install and remove between loads. It's a flexible silicone so it will last a long time. Very durable with good quality and looks like a cute little cat paw.

I never thought this would be such a convenient item to have in your laundry room. When I moved into my apartment the washer would always be very smelly and you could feel how moist it was in there, not allowing it to fully dry and giving my clothes an awful smell. Now, having this product I can put it right into the door after each wash. This has allowed the drum to airdry and ventilate and has removed the odor.

We have a narrow laundry room and getting past the open washing machine door with a laundry basket requires an acrobatic feat. We have an HE machine so keeping the washing machine door closed is not an option. This item lets me keep the door closed enough that I can walk by without hoisting the laundry backet over my head and yet allows for sufficient air flow. I place this on the top of washing machine door to keep it more open. It works on the side too, as pictured on the listing, but the side placement doesn't allow as much air flow.I realize that this can be used on any door that wants to swing closed if you need to keep it propped a bit. I don't have any doors like this in our house, but I've lived in other houses where the doors were out of true and could trap a cat or dog. This would been a gift in some of those houses, but our current house is fairly modern construction. For the price, you can't go wrong with this purchase!
