While the overall look is nice. The core of the box is made with a form of particle board.When it arrived three of the four latch assemblies had already fallen off. The rivets used to secure these latches and the hinges pulled out of the wood with almost no effort. Sending it back was more trouble than it was worth. Ended up buying a packet of wood screws and repair all the defective anchor points. Given that the screws are anchored in sub standard wood where the rivets had pulled out. I am not certain how long it will hold. I may end up having to pop rivet these points later.Bottom line, you shouldn't have to play carpenter with a brand new box that is probably only worth about $20. The price should reflect better quality materials and anchors.

LOVE! It's sturdy, it looks amazing AND the lid doesn't detach from the box like other brands do which I love. Would purchase again.

I bought one of these a year ago and it's excellent. Last week I ordered another, and the veneer was peeling off, and it looked like it had been damaged at some point before it was shipped. QA seems to be a problem with Vinyl Styl in my experience, and from what I've seen in other reviews.To all of the people complaining that it doesn't fit as many records as advertised: double albums obviously take up twice the space of singles.

Terrific vinyl case, does not hold as many LPs as noted but may be because today’s LPs are typically double disks.
