I purchased this cutting torch set and was sent a set design for Canada that is different from the USA. The gas regulator has different threads and will not fasten to USA gas bottle. No luck finding an adapter I had to purchase another regulator

The gas regulator was assembled with a CO2 end, so would not work on an acetylene bottle. Had to take it to a local welding supply shop and spend $30 for the right fitting. Could have sent it back but then they would just sell it to someone else again. Be sure to check your regulators if you buy this kit. Other then that issue, it's a great set up. Hope to pass it on to the next generation someday.

Everything in this kit seems to be fine, except the acetelene regulator. It has the wrong threads (has oxygen bottle style connection). So now i camt use the kit that i paid for untill i go buy the proper regulator. Bought this kit to ensure id have everything id need.
