If you set up a gimbal setup on a moving platform, any jerky movement puts enormous strain on the gimbal's motors and bearings as it tries to stabilize the camera. High frequency vibrations created by moving parts such as motors, rotor propellers and low frequency oscillations such as sudden changes of direction are all absorbed by the wire isolator.
