The sound is more brilliant and more percussive and particularly well adapted to all new styles of music.

I have played on over 2 dozen types of reeds for bari and these are by far the best. I have played it for 7 years and find these to work best. I have a metal Otto Link mouthpiece and a Selmer LeVoix2 Bari. I had played on a Selmer USA mouthpiece which is where I first played the V16 reeds. These are great reeds for a mix between jazz and classical. They provide a light color with a warm timber.
