This product is good but the swivel comes loose and won’t lock in place so we have to keep an eye on it to tighten it back up. Also the instructions are not good and not very helpful. We also turned to YouTube and that wasn’t helpful either but we were able to figure it out but overall very sturdy and definitely need two people to assemble it.

Do a parts inventory first thing but be aware that many of the parts are already installed on the unit. Useful to look at the diagrams to determine which parts are installed where per the inventory sheet.Have a good plan on how you intend to mount it to a wall and the height at which you desire to install it. I chose to mount 2x8s to a cinder block wall and then mount the speed bag platform to the boards. No kidding on the "2 man lift" when mounting!Once installed, the platform is rock solid!! I had my own speed bag and installed it on the provided swivel which is not a "quick change" type of swivel (if you have multiple speed bags you want to use, you may want to consider another swivel type). The design of the adjustable height is fantastic but you need to know the average height of speed bag users when installing it assuming all users are within 14" in height of each other (the adjustable height is plus or minus 7" from that average height).

Bought this as my birthday present to myself for my first house, so I wanted the best one I could get. I’ve used many types of these things over the years, and this one is by far the best. Making a template to mount it on a large sheet of graph paper (not included) makes mounting way easier. It’s super sturdy, and doesn’t rattle at all despite the enthusiastic beating it’s taken. I could not be happier with my purchase!

wow! very nice speed bag. I had to change the swevel for a better one but the platform is nice, good rebound of the speed bag. the ball is ok but I will change it for a faster one...

Solid, sturdy platform. Doesn't vibrate, or shake when in use. Easy to set up and install. The only con is the lack of height adjustment, so make sure you get the correct height when you set it up.

Complete garbage, figured the high price would mean quality... completely wrong.No directions at all, garbage wall anchors (had to build my own) the hand pump is broke, then when I finally rigged something together to pump up the bag... the damn bag doesn't hold air... Swivel needed wd40... What a waste. Hope Valor sees this and fixes the situation...

The platform is very good product and well made. However the bags that comes with it is made in poor quality. The bag had punctured after the first punch.

I've been searching for a good speed bag platform for a few years now, I've done some research and went with this speed bag platform and I couldn't be much happier. First I want to say putting it up was pretty easy if you are handy at stuff like this. I do it for a living Handyman work so I found it easy but you will need two people to put this up it does weigh 80lbs and you will need wood boards to mount this on that is mounted to studs in the wall. It is very well made does not rattle or shake and you will not need to put extra weight on top of platform. And you can adust the height of the platform by turning the wheel which turns easy the bars are solid metal not hollow. Speed bag is good but not the greatest but if your a beginner it will do. I strongly recommend this speed bag platform to the serious boxer

This unit is heavy. You'll need a hand installing it. Follow their advice on how to mount it. Mine rattles slightly but I think it's because I need two more bolts to secure it to the wood that I mounted horizontally on the wall. I plan on adding that to see if it fixes the rattle. It's not too bad though. I love the unit! It's really easy to adjust. It allows my son, or someone shorter, to adjust it to their height. It's solid. I did buy a different bag. I never tried the one it came with but it looks pretty cheap. I already had a new bag I bought earlier from amazon so I just used that one. Don't try to mount alone..you'll need help but it's worth it! I've never used another speed bag mount so I can't compare it to anything. I can say I really like this one and I'm glad I bought it. It did come with an end cap that was broken during delivery. I read in the manual it said to call them, NOT where you bought it from, so I did that. Their customer service was awesome. They shipped out the end cap and some extra ones just in case. Fast delivery, no hassle. A+++

Love the platform. The speed bag SUCKS! It does not hold air and it was never used. Piece of garbage. I'm glad I read other reviews before buying this because I knew to buy a better bag than the one that was supplied.

If you want a high quality speed bag platform, then look no further than the Valor Athletics CA - 2. It is well built and rock solid. You will want some serious help installing this bad boy! It's built to take a pounding, and as such, is quite heavy. We mounted ours on two 4x6s spanning four studs with a dozen large wood screws and we may need to add more! I wish I had a concrete wall to install this thing on. When I get rolling on the full size bag that is included, it really shakes the platform (not to mention the rest of the house!). The swivel included with this platform is very good and of very high quality, is also a bit loud. Also, the speed bag that is included is just about as big (and slow) as they come, and mine was pretty lopsided right out of the box. It works well enough for beginners, and if you hit properly, the swivel will keep it on track, but I have already ordered two and an extra swivel.As others have said, the swivel is top notch, the platform is steady, and everything you need to mount the platform itself is included. My only advice is that if you are going to mount this platform to wooden studs, then be sure to do it right. Consider building a wooden cross braced frame to fit the platform, then drill it into as many studs in as many different locations as you possibly can! This is the highest quality heavy duty professional grade platform that I have ever used, and it is well worth the price.
