Vacu Vin Rapid Ice Champagne Coolers were developed to chill champagne quickly and keep it chilled for an extended period of time, all without the need of a refrigerator or ice bucket. The cooling sleeve contains 6 pockets of specifically formulated, non-toxic gel that expands when placed in a freezer for a period of 6 hours or more. This works with Champagne and wine bottles! The ones that have the Velcro wrap does not work with Champagne bottles. I returned the Velcro purchase and purchased this one. No problems whatsoever. You won’t go wrong buying this.

Essayer c’est l’adopter. Personnellement je ne peux plus m’en passer. Idéal pour le champagne, les blancs et rosés. Le vin réchauffe vite l’été, du coup avoir ce produit sous la main est idéal. Adapté aux bouteilles de champagnes, ce qui n’est pas le cas de beaucoup d’autres. Le petit filet permet de bien serrer le tout. Le refroidissement est obtenu 3n 15 mn à partir d’une bouteille à température cave. En plus il est plutôt joli…

This is just perfect for taking a bottle of Prosecco out onto the porch to enjoy with a friend. It keeps the bottle cool for some time, looks good, and goes right back into the freezer afterwards. No icy bucket mess.

These frozen Vacu Vin "jackets" for your champagne won't chill a warm bottle adequately, IMO, but they do a great job of keeping a chilled bottle nice and cold as you drink it. Nobody wants warm champagne and no messy ice bucket is necessary.If you're starting with room temperature champagne, put the bottle in the freezer for ONE hour to chill. Pay attention; set a timer. You don't want a mess in your freezer!You can then take the bottle out of the freezer, slip the Vacu Vin jacket onto it and enjoy well chilled glasses of bubbly for as long as the bottle lasts. We keep a couple of these coolers in the freezer in case a second bottle is necessary.

Avevo visto questo manicotto refrigerante ad una festa all'aperto questa estate e l'ho cercato tanto e alla fine eccolo qui su Amazon.L'efficacia c'è, quando non si hanno frigoriferi e serve un sistema per mantenere in fresco da bere questo manicotto per bottiglie tipo prosecco/spumante risulta perfetto, pratico e anche grazioso a vedersi.Utilizzarlo è facilissimo: va messo in congelatore per qualche ora (io lo tengo anche metà giornata), occupa poco spazio perché si mette nella sua forma piatta; prima di utilizzarlo si sfila e si fa indossare alla bottiglia (se da portare all'aperto per alcune ore, meglio se la bottiglia è bella fredda così che il manicotto serva solo per mantenere la corretta temperatura, altrimenti avrà la funzione di raffreddare ma per meno tempo).Comodo il fatto che il manicotto possa chiudersi intorno al collo della bottiglia e adattarsi ad esso grazie ad un laccetto che si stringe a seconda dei diversi formati.Altre caratteristiche da citare sono il fatto che sia molto leggero, carino a vedersi, facile da trasportare, da pulire e mantenere nel tempo. Made in Netherlands.Soddisfattissima: ad un costo di poco meno di 13€ (dicembre 2019) credo sia davvero un buonissimo prodotto soprattutto nella stagione calda se si vuole mantenere freddo un vino per alcune ore senza frigo o altro per raffreddare.Inserisco alcune foto e spero di aver aiutato per valutare un eventuale acquisto. I like the ease of this product. we just need to keep champagne that has already been chilled cool while its on the table. Your product looks good and isnt messy and it does the job.

I started with a chilled bottle with this cooler hoping it would stay cold when I took it to an event. It kept it cool enough until we opened the bottle 45 minutes later but it wasn't nearly as chilled then and it warmed up quickly. I think this is best used as a substitute for an ice bucket for short periods of time as another reviewer suggested. It is inexpensive so I rate this as an acceptable product.

My friends and I love champagne!! When I saw this I had to buy for all of us. Everyone loves it and thinks it's brilliant! Makes a perfect gift. Great for transporting champagne and keeping it chilled (and cushioned). We like our champagne extra chilled so we keep a bottle in the freezer for 30-60 minutes before serving. This keeps it chilled. Keep 2 or more at hand to alternate keeping it frozen. The platinum design is gorgeous and fun. The black is elegant.

This is nice. Better than a wet, slippery bottle grabbed out of an ice bucket. Got the gold colored one as it befits the grandeur of champagne. Fits a bottle of champers but too big for white wine. It will keep your pre-chilled champs cold much longer...good for traveling or picnics. Or even in your garden if you don't want to get up and move. I suggest a champagne stopper to keep the bubbles where they should be...inside the bottle until they escape into your mouth. Many kinds of stoppers available on Amazon but the black one that twists will keep the contents from spilling and keep the bubbles fresher. However, it takes more energy to use that one...twisting on and off...so get the silver push on type that locks around the lip if you are not anticipating leftovers...an unlikely scenario. Put sleeve in freezer to chill the gel contents. The sleeve is open on the bottom. Pick the bottle up by the neck or the bottle will fall out the bottom and that horrendous faux pas is recognized as a tragedy in all four corners of the world....what with champagne bottles slipping down, crashing to the floor and causing gasps in everyone jumping up to save it. Such energy wasted. I am getting another one in another color. One bottle of champagne is NEVER enough. No matter who or how many.
