These are excellent quality (every bit as good as ALPS and fully compatible). Both work perfectly, no skipping or issues at all. Make sure you buy the right encoder! (If you need the one that pushes to click, this is NOT it. This encoder is 3 pin, rotation only). Also note there are two sizes with different hole pattern (this is the larger size)
