  • Idler sprocket is a flat sprocket, with a precision bearing (6901Z) that allows the sprocket to rotate freely. Idler sprockets are normally mounted in a fixed position on a fixed shaft.
  • Made of quality #45 steel, which goes through a quenching process to harden the teeth. This enhances durability and reduces friction, resulting in a sprocket with high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and a long service life.

The idlers work well and come as described except for the retaining ring. One of the idlers was missing the retaining ring that holds the bearing in place. They are inexpensive to most idler sprockets on the market. Even with the missing retaining ring, I would purchase again if needed. The teeth are the correct pitch for #25 chain and run smoothly.
