1. What is a dowel pin?

Install
This cylindrical locating pin has special chamfering on the two ends of the pin, so that the pin can be easily inserted into the mounting hole. Please confirm the size of the locating pin you need before purchase，In order to maintain the best firm performance, a metal adhesive can be added at the fixed end of the locating pin.
Connection
The pin is one of the unthreaded cylindrical pin fasteners. When connecting, make sure to keep the alignment between the hole positions between the connecting components.We suggest to use fixed positioning jigs and drilling tools for drilling
Notice
For a tight fit, your hole should be equal to or slightly smaller than the diameter shown (Diameter + 0.006"/-0")

Used for DD19.2 and I'm sure they will work with the 17 and 26, probably any frame that's 3d printed. Cheaper then paying for shipping from riptide for one pin. If you're just building a project these should be fine.

3mm x 25mmI don't know why anyone would use a black plastic pin to hold things together, but that is what the Austrian designer did. It works, but I think metal is a better choice for that application, especially since the parts need to be held in proper alignment. These are a perfect replacement. They are the same size as the pins that come with AVES components for the Austrian design.

Not precision ground as the diameter varies , so didn’t work for my application. I needed a tight fit in metal to metal contact. More detailed description would be better.
