The original terminal strip had become brittle over the years and the originals are getting very hard to find plus the originals are not user friendly. The original terminal strips required a special tool to remove or connect the wires. These Uxcell, 10-position, duel row terminal strips with cable barrier worked great, Very easy to connect the cables and used a label maker - to label connected wires for easy identification..

Used these to convert an old panel in to a j-box.The terminal strip worked better than a bunch of wire nuts. Also I like the fact that the terminal screws are covered. The job look neat and profession.

The strip is fine. I mounted mine under the hood for auxiliary lighting, on the radiator support. The clear cover protector warped and fell off. Just from engine compartment heat. Didn’t affect me, may not affect you.
