Needed to have one of these on hand for the rare occasion I need to use a serial connection to something. This adapter was immediately recognized by my computer, and was usable to get into my router’s CLI. I didnt pay attention to the length when I ordered it, and was surprised at how long it was, I was half expecting a six inch adapter dongle type thing, instead I ended up with a full on usb-rs232 serial cable.
