I wish they put an installation manual in the product description. I did not try it because my intent was to install it 45 cm below waterline and not drill the hole in the boat. Instructions that come with the product categorically warn about installation below 16 inch (40 cm) and, about exposing cable to water.I hope it will help someone to avoid my mistake. I cannot say anything about the product itself, though.

We live in a rural area, and parking the car at night can be a bit of a challenge - I have to park in a very specific spot with relatively tight clearances for reasons that are too long to go into. It's REALLY dark out here.I've placed one on each of the front stair lower posts, one on each side of the upper stair posts facing inwards, and one on a EV charging post. The car has to back into between the stairs and the charging post.I run them on a timer that turns on when it gets dark and stays lit for about 6 hours makes it super easy to "land" the car right without breaking a taillamp, and not trip over the stairs.We've had them on the stairs for quite a while - they throw enough light to "land" and see the stairs nicely, and haven't deteriorated (they get full sun during the day).My wish would be that the wires were made a few wire gauges larger, they're so thin that you're afraid to sneeze around them they look so fragile.

After doing so much digging on a transom light I went ahead and bit the bullet on these & they didn’t disappoint. I’d say they’re bright enough considering they’re not the “named” brands out there for a fraction of the cost. Im very satisfied on the product left the boat in the water 4 days and absolutely no water in them. Pretty easy to wire up came with enough wire to take it all the way to the captain chair if needed. I dont know how long they’ll last me but hopefully for a long time cause it hurt me doing holes in the transom. Happy boating!

I put these on a 70 foot boat as replacement lighting on the back steps. Really nice! Now i wish i had ordered the blue.

At an average 7.7 watt load each. these lights are very bright. They penetrate 6 meters of pool water so easily. Awaiting more stock to do the other half of the pool.
