First and foremost I read the reviews on the TXesign Charge 5 case, all of which at the time were Vine customer reviews involving a free product and imho, the reviews are indeed genuine, honest and accurate appraisals of this excellent case. I purchased two JBL Charge 5's because they sound great and then purchased two of the TXesign cases designed for the JBL Charge 5. No free products, and no connection with TXesign or anyone else on this, so this is my honest opinion. This case really accents the look and design of the Charge 5. Dimension-wise it should fit a Charge 4 as well, but may somewhat block the battery indicator lights if that matters to anyone. Material has the look and feel of a high quality leather.The fit is excellent and this case really elevates the speaker's appearance to look more attractive and expensive. All buttons and ports are easily accessible. This attractive, quality build case certainly offers some protection and is great for transporting the speaker with the convenient shoulder strap. Some reviewers felt the two Velcro straps were a bit difficult yo work with and this is likely true for some users, but I found no concerning issue with them at all, and the case is so nice, the straps are definitely not a deal breaker. In fact , once you strap the unit in, how often would there be a need to strap and unstrap since the case does not alter the sound and actually looks great ? Plus once broken-in the straps should become easier to manipulate. It's a valid point though by some of the reviewers who commented on the straps; however, the many pluses of this case far outweigh the rare times you may have to use the straps and many folks may not experience any concern with them at all. IMO, TXesign earns an A+ on this product for design, quality, function, appearance and value. Exceptional value for the price! TXEsign, please keep up the great work on your cases! The JBL Clip 3 silicone case by TXesign is also excellent. My compliments to all the Vine reviewers who gave very accurate appraisals so they certainly deserve any perks afforded to them by Vine. I typically don't ever pay attention to reviews with free products or perks but the reviews here have changed that view somewhat, and are indeed genuine appraisals of this product, and that's very good to see.
