Be careful I'm not sure if this is common but after a short ride , I went to lock up my bike and the entire key assembly was missing ,this is a big concern of mine if the lock assembly can fall out or just be popped out like that I emailed the seller to find out if they would warranty the lock . So stay posted I will let you all know.

Simple and straight forward disc lock. Comes with batteries already loaded and extras....that is a nice feature. Also has a case and reminder cable. No instructions inside. NOTE: The alarm is not activated by a push button...that is the more expensive model which you can turn on and off. This one is always activated once the lock is in place. If you do not want the alarm on you would have to take out the batteries. Not a deal breaker, but Amazon needs to get this changed.I have not had the lock or alarm "tested" so really cannot comment on either, but it is heavy duty and should provide good protection.

It serves it's purpose pretty well I'd say but although the package there are instructions, there aren't, but it's not hard to figure out. Sometimes the alarm trips when you don't want it to. Other times when I've tried to make it trigger it didn't, and I'm not sure why. As just a rotor lock it works absolutely fine.
