I installed an aftermarket transmission oil cooler on ford 6.7 and I can honestly say that this hose is a great quality and does the job that was intended for. I definitely recommend this product. 👌

If you're replacing the factory transmission cooler lines, this is the right hose - 400 PSI and impervious to oils. This is far too much hose, but it only comes in 25' lengths. I chose Gates hose because I have been using their products for years and years. This is typical hydraulic return/cooler hose but is accurately sized at 1/2". Many hoses these days are actually metric sizes although close they are not correct 1/2" is actually 12.7 mm and the hose many manufacturers sell as 1/2" are actually 13mm which really isn't a proper fit. Hose quality is top notch and recommended.

I bought this hose for my 2007 explorer sport trac it has 1/2" trans lines and the dealer wanted over 300.00 for the oem style because it had a revision done and you had to get a cooler and lines all together so this save a lot of money.
