I was looking for something unique for my wife this Valentine’s Day and randomly came across this String Art Kit. I figured, why not? Turns out, it was the best decision ever. She was completely shocked when I told her I made it myself—still doesn’t believe me! The kit made the process super easy, even for someone like me who’s not exactly artistic. It was actually pretty relaxing to do, and the final result looks amazing. If you want a gift that’s personal, creative, and guaranteed to impress, this is it.

I can’t believe how incredible this turned out! The level of detail is just mind-blowing—my dog looks almost alive in this string art. Every time I look at it, I’m amazed by how accurately the portrait captures my pup’s expression.I spent about a week working on it, dedicating an hour each day, and the process was unbelievably relaxing. Watching the image slowly come to life with each thread was truly satisfying. It felt like meditation, and I enjoyed every moment.If you’re considering this, go for it! Often I do reviews in a pros and cons kind of way. So I’ll start with the good here and then explain why none of the positives matter in the negatives section.Pros =- Nice supplies. Comes with a decent board that already had the nails/pins/whatever you want to call them installed into the board. It also comes with a good sized spool of thread, a phone holder for reading the patterns, etc.Cons =- privacy terms are only in Russian so if you’re buying this on Amazon and don’t read Russian, good luck figuring out what you’re agreeing to.- the app does not work. I entered the code, nothing happened. I entered the code wrong to see if it was just me doing something wrong. It told me it was an incorrect code. So I know it can differentiate between a working code and a non-working code. The app just does not do anything.Overall = total disappointment. You’re overpaying for a board and not getting an app that works to create your own photo string art, which is a big percentage of being able to enjoy this product. Feels like this either was not tested or is just a scam. I don’t know which it is, but I wouldn’t trust this company with access to my photos if they are going to be selling $149 products that rely on software without even confirming if it works or not. Deleted the app and don’t see myself trusting it enough to reinstall it now.

I plan to make the string art as a Christmas gift for my partner. The general kit supplies and package seemed nice, simple and not environmentally wasteful. I appreciate the eco thoughtfulness. Initially, I wasn’t able to start my project due to an issue with the app and my personal code. However, after a couple messages to IT Arti, I was given a new code that works. I’m very excited to get started on this project. The audio instructions seem easy and almost meditative.
