Looks nice but it’s a little too big for my gun. There’s two elastic straps that hold it on the butt. However there not adjustable. The leather is thick and hard .. I’ll try to put some leather cream on it to see if it helps. The cheek pad is well placed The backside of the snaps are smooth but will rub some on the stock. I put stick -on felt pads on them. This is installed on a Sharps 1853 54 cal carbine that kicks like a mule.

I bought this for an SMLE that someone cut the end of the buttstock off of so the original brass buttplate no longer fit nor did most buttplates or recoil pads. This product fit great and it feels great. Really soaks up the recoil and the cheek pad is great. It would be a little loose if my sling swivel was not in the right place to hold the pad on tighter. If it is too loose there is nothing to do as the straps are elastic. But for me it was fantastic and looks beautiful.

As described, but straps are not adjustable. Fits on my Remington 1100, but I would like it a bit tighter. I suppose I can put a few twists in the straps, but I will probably end up punching holes and lacing-up the bottom opening.Looks good, would be at home on any wooden stock. Order black if you have a synthetic stock.

seems like a great product with quality leather. However, the buckle system/snap is not up to par. The buckle keeps snapping off with any kind of tension. Replace with more secure snap and it is a winner. would buy again with the better snap.
