Love, love, love these socks. Thorlos are never a disappointment. The cushioning and stretchiness make these socks extremely comfortable. The blue color matches all my jeans and blue pants. These socks are slip resistant and worth the money.

I did not buy these for me. As for these socks I can't attest for the sturdiness of them. However, previous purchases of this brand has proven to be very sturdy, to the tune of 12 years. The previous purchase has held of very well.

Product fit perfectly. Padding is great. Quality is good. Just a bit expensive. I was scared that I might get a fake product but thankfully that wasn't the case.

I was looking for some thicker, cushioned and absorbent walking socks for winter. These socks fit the bill. I love how soft they are inside, the constuction being looped like cotton sports socks, but with excellent wicking properties, because they are not cotton. Not had any issue wearing regards blisters, when wearing as the only pair i.e no liner socks.Wash very well on a gentle wash I do weekly with my fleeces and walking trousers, and they dry quickly. I would like to try more Thorlos socks after having these.

First Pair and I can tell I'm hooked :) I love these socks - fit perfectly - warm my feet up but not too hot - I love these!!!! - Just another addon to my previous post (first statement). Some time has passed and no long am I just hooked I"m in love with this brand and will probably never go back again! These are great for anyone who loves thick socks, form fitting and just the perfect amounts of elasticity, not too tight and never too lose! I love the added arch support and it is so helpful for anyone whose feet just need some extra tlc because they hurt or you stand on them all day et al - it's a superb match. I wouldn't suggest these with reg shoes without much room for extra padding from the socks as it's a very thick sock and will indeed take away shoe space. Tennis shoes are iffy for some probably esp if you wear a tight fitting pair however if you allow some room to give way to the sock you will be fine. Boots are a fine match esp hiking or biking boots. These wear well and haven't fallen apart or gave way to my constant wearing of them and I'm now a repeat customer and will always be such. You will love these if you wear/love thick socks! Dreamy indeed!

WOW!! What a difference good, well fitting socks make! I have been having aching feet, and my doctor suggested buying better socks. After doing some research, and getting over the sticker shock, I decided on Thorlo brand socks. I bought my first few pairs of them at REI, but they don't carry them anymore. I was very glad to find them on Amazon at a reasonable price. I had been buying and wearing ordinary crew socks , which cost about $15.00 for a 10 pack, so paying almost that much for one pair was hard to imagine. Now, I have weeded out all of the thin, cheap socks, and make sure I have these cushy bad boys on before I do anything besides shuffle around the house. Great for hiking, walking,or wearing under boots for riding (though I'd love to find this sock in an over-the-calf style; they would make EXCELLENT riding socks). Quite simply, these are the best socks I have ever owned.

These socks are my favorites! They are nearly as warm as wool, and they wick moisture very well. After 12 hours walking on concrete while wearing boots indoors, my feet are dry! The padded soles are very comfortable. The ribbed crew top stays in place without being tight on my leg. I look forward to using these while hiking this year, also.They are easy to care for. Wash them inside out and use liquid fabric softener. With wool socks, you aren't supposed to use fabric softener. I buy wool socks in lighter colors and Thorlon socks in darker colors to make sorting and washing (correctly) easier.My shoe size is 9.5 in women's, and I ordered the large size. They fit well, probably just as socks are meant to fit. I've been wearing men's 5.11 tactical socks for years because they had the most padding I had found... until now! I'm still getting used to not having extra fabric in the toe box of my boots.These socks are keepers. I raved so much about them that my husband decided to buy some, too.

You know you're in deep when you start buying specialty socks. I've recently graduated from casual hiker status to committed and goal-focused hiker, while preparing for a big hike. There are many different hiking sock options out there, and after spending a somewhat neurotic amount of time researching all those available, decided to give these a shot. Had I known the sheer luxury of spending a few more dollars on Really Good Socks before now, I would have made this jump years ago. These socks are INCREDIBLY COMFORTABLE, and the PERFECT THICKNESS to provide extra padding for very long walks up and down steep hills. Also, I love the color (slate blue). Please note: these socks will only work if your shoes have a little extra space--not too snug. These socks are thick and add at least a 1/4 size to your foot. Added bonus: while wearing these socks, you will feel more at peace with the world, more aligned with the best version of yourself; you will feel more vigor and lightness in your step, the weight of the world will lessen, your skin will glow with a new vitality, and small animals will flock to you and sing songs while perched on the end of your finger. You will wonder to yourself, "how have I lived so long without these socks?" then you will buy them and wonder how you could possible go on living without them.

Actually I liked the other thorlo socks better. I bought these for bigger boots I had. thorlo socks last and last and fit well. No sloppy baggy heels, and oh so soft bottoms! These are too, but somehow the knit seems looser. But they are thick, soft and warm. Wash all Thorlo socks inside out with plenty of clothes softner and they will retain that soft fluff they are known for. They will not ride down like other socks either. Well worth the money, I just like the shorter ( and priced) other ones better.
