This fit my 90's Specialized Rockhopper perfectly and has extra length if I want to raise the bars further (cables permitting).

Loved the fit and finish. A quality made product, strong and usable. With this item I converted road bars to flat bars, making a light fast bicycle more pleasurable to ride. Installation and adjustment were easy and precise.

Sturdy and keeps bike more upright lessening parking space. Can move the bike around in the garage with out the pedal hitting and getting stuck on an under mount stand under front gears.

Needed to upgrade the height, it does that but not enough for me, having more adjustments is really nice, if I was a younger man back when I was actually hitting the mountain trails hard this would be just fine, installed easy, tested it on a 4 mile ride all good, I'm only riding on easy trails and paved trails these days so maybe also adding a set of Uprise handlebars will do the trick, can't lean forward for very long these days without my wrist and hands falling asleep.Getting old Sucks !!!!All and all I'd recommend, because now my wife wants this on her bike.

I'll agree with the reviewers that mention weight, but really, I bought for an old 30 lb bike so that's no big deal. It matches polished aluminum stem that was on my bike- not highly polished chrome and that's good to me. Easy to adjust. Quality component.

There is a lot of excess aluminum that could be removed without serious weakening. Fit is fine other than that.It would be nice if it would go more negative (lower) for adjustment. I am using this to stand in for an old Modolo quill stem that I broke. Cannot get the bars down as low with this stem. Maybe not a big deal, I am a lot older and less flexible.

We bought two of these risers for our 26" mountain bikes we got from Walmart. Upon getting the bikes home we noticed right away the risers will need to be replaced. And, these new risers were perfect! We love how it's longer and has adjustable angles for the handlebars.
