It does run across the butter and then spreads on to food easily, but if I had known that it only did that I wouldn't have bought it or at least not at the price it was. I am giving it five stars for the fact that it does as described.

Gave this as a fathers day gift for my fiance. It melts butter nicely and he has no problem with it warming up in his hand. He suggests running under hot water if you have an issue warming it up in your hands. It leaves a nice even layer of butter as well

The combination of its shape design, blade profile and material makes it an efficient tool for spreading cold butter, but also works with cold Nutella and chocolate spreads. Fits very well in the hands. The decoration on the handle is a bit misleading, as it looks like a button to press in order to get it work, but I have no issue with that. It is also good to have colour variations I can choose from.

Yes, it makes curls of cold butter, but they don't become any easier to spread with this knife. The knife doesn't noticeably heat up and make the butter easier to spread.The knife is also difficult to use. The handle isn't long enough.Very poor product and a waste of money.I wouldn't buy it again and I would encourage others not to buy it.

I was really hopeful this would work as described but am let down. It works ok but not amazing. I wouldn't buy this again.

I was dubious about this product ---and rightfully so. The product doesn't work. There is no way to get enough heat transfer from your hand to soften the butter at a reasonable rate. So I tried running it under hot water prior to use. Results were about the same. Unfortunately, this product just does not do what is claimed. It will cut butter though -- but only as well as any other knife.

Been using this knife for a couple of months now. The serrated part is pretty good, I can get a thin layer of cold butter but if that butter is meant for a slice of bread, say a sandwich, the it is still cold so that it doesn’t spread properly. If the butter is meant for hard toast it will work. The warming part of the knife dose t seem to work as well, the butter doesn’t become soft enough.

I’m going to give it 5 stars because of what it does not for what I imagined it would do.Expectation was that this gem would have an on button, heat up and I’d have warm butter like when you have a dab sliding down a stack of pancakes. WRONG!I got a piece of white bread, a plate of refrigerated butter, a butter knife and this bad boy.I buttered half with a regular butter knife and half with THAT!. What I found was that this does take the butter and slide it on the bread as intended. 1) you can cut the butter off thinner 2) easier to spread because butter is thin.The butter knife did...well you know, that’s why you are looking for an alternative.I don’t think they have cracked the code for the price but I won’t return mine.

Arrvd on time & well pkd. Classy packaging! This knife for lack of a more precise word performs exactly as described. Sliced thru refrigerator-hard butter beautufully. Made of titanium, it is nicely dense and weighty but easy to manipulate. This would be a great gift for anyone!

Funktioniert echt gut - wenn man Wärme Hände hat, dann leidet dieses Buttermesser die Körperwärme und macht so die kalte Butter leichter streichbar
