Bought this for our camper fridge to keep food in place while traveling. The ends are a hard plastic that slides with any amount of pressure making them completely ineffective for the purpose they are sold for! Also difficult to get the tension right- seems to want to unwind with any pressure. I have one I bought separately with soft rubber ends that holds well - will look to see if I can find something like that to make these work.

We used a set of these in the refrigerator of our Camper and they worked great. Easy to adjust and very stable. I am buying a second set for our pantry now to keep things in place

You have to twist the rods to use pressure to hold them in place. Problem is that after driving for a few hours the rods turn themselves back just enough to relieve the pressure.

Great idea, can't wait to try them on the road. The plastic pieces that keep the poles together keep coming off. Probably will not affect overall function of the poles.

I'm going to use these in my RV. They're a bit flimsy, so I'd suggest paying a little more for some sturdier ones. I'm going to try these out to prevent things falling out of my fridge when opening it after driving.07/09/24 - After using these refrigerator brackets several times on long trips I would say they're dependable. I like them and would buy them again. They hold up very well.
