One broke off with first strong wind this year. I would definitely recommend a stronger set if you are using them for sail shades.

Used these to hang up our canopy. I do recommend that you buy a second set, if you have a large canopy.

I bought a shade sail, it does come with the furnishings to install it. So you need something like this. You won't necessarily use all of the components, but if you need to repair it at some point, you have all you need. It is all Stainless steel, and so rust resistant. It comes with the screws needed to mount brackets. I knocked one star off because I would have liked 4 carabiners instead of two, but I made do, so it wasn't a deal breaker. But I recommend this if you are looking to put up a shade sail yourself. Good luck, definitely worth the effort, with climate change here.

The product is fine. Quality is good. My package was missing the rope clamps. I was not going to delay my project, trying to return the entire package, then wait to get it again. Had to just go buy the clamps at the home improvement store. Very frustrating to start a project only to have to stop due to missing parts!

The kit was just what I needed and worked well for 1/2 my project. I needed 35' of cable so was happy it said that it came with 40'. Disappointing to find out as stated in other reviews....only received 30'. Someone can't measure when packing kits.

I bought this back in March and finally got my shade sail up over my back patio mid-last week. At first everything seemed fine, but by this weekend I was making runs to the hardware store to replace pieces as they failed. First it was the rope clamps. They were so small that no matter how much I tried to tighten them, the cables kept slipping back out and dropping the shade. I replaced the rope clamps with a more heavy duty clamp on Saturday morning. My Saturday night, the cable ropes were failing. The plastic coating on the rope got stripped off where they went through the clamps which then allowed the cable to slip through and drop the sail. Back to the hardware store for new better cable rope. Now I am worried and wondering if I should preemptively replace the other parts before they fail too. This kit was practically useless.
