This is an excellent product. Took about 10 minutes to install and my 4 year old could ride a bike with pedals after 1 day of trying. He really worked through. Kids a little psychopath who refused to trail his older sisters any longer

I just put this pedal kit on my 5 & 6 yr olds Strider 14x this evening. (took 3 mins each) They’ve probably been on the bikes a total of 25 times without pedals, had the balance part down. They saw the video of the kid transitioning, 3 minutes outside with the pedals on the bikes, and they taught themselves to ride with pedals. AMAZING!! This is the way!!

Easy install. The totally enclosed chain is great for little kids. The quality is solid. The shape of the pedals is a super nice touch. Instead of being full sized, they are clipped like the little door rests on this bike when it's just a balance bike. This little detail really helps with the transition from balance bike to pedal bike since the kiddo can still ride it like a balance bike without catching little legs on large pedals.Value-wise, these are a bit on the expensive side - but our son has done great with them and I have zero regrets. They really extended the life of the small balance bike.Overall, if anyone cares about my opinion 🙂, I recommend this kit as well as the bike. They are both solid, tough, and the kid has a blast with them.

Skeptical on how it was going to be easy taking it on and off for my son‘s Bmx. It wasn’t as bad as I was expecting and it does the job and it’s built very well. My son learned how to pedal and he’s three with this product happy mom over here

Pedal stroke is short compared to a real bike, but this isn’t a “real” bike. So if you’re kid is like mine and loves his strider but also wants pedals this is a perfect compromise.

Super easy to install right out the box. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is cause I think the pedals them selves are a little too small (too narrow) and the kit should have brought an Allen Key for the assembly. I had to dig deep in my garage for what I thought was an awkward size. I could be wrong and just haven't come across that size before, but still, wouldn't kill em to provide that key. Aside from that, my kid was super stoked and I was very happy to see him zip away.Great company and always recommend it to all parents. Training wheels are a waste of time.

I bought the Strider balance bike for my grandson, who turned five between the time he got the bike and when I put on the pedals. I was and am, amazed; he took right to the balance bike, and in a couple of months he was hurtling up and down the driveway with his feet off the ground, so I figured, time for the pedals. The instructions could be better--I dislike iconic instructions--but nothing serious, since it's fairly intuitive. The grandson got on it a little tentatively--he's cautious about new things, and I got behind him and supported him--for the first lap. Then, he was off on his own. I held my breath as he wobbled down the asphalt driveway, wearing shorts; I could envision bloody knees. But--he didn't fall then, and he hasn't fallen since; he tears around to the menace of dogs, grandparents, and his younger sister, but never any hesitation. I was nine years old before I mastered my bike--admittedly it was a 26" one, a mistake my parents made; for a week or more I could only stop by crashing into an azalea bush...I'm very glad this tyke will be spared that! The ideal way to start off kids on bikes; his sister has her eye on it, so I'll likely buy him a larger one soon. Great product.
