First I should say that the main reason I got this mat was to have something to place hot dishes and pans on my table and countertops, and to keep the heat from burning fingers from a hot stove, but it's clear that this is not going to work. The ad does state that the mat is heat resistant to 500 degrees, so I thought I could place hot pans and such on it, and it would protect counters and fingers. Unfortunately it doesn't keep the counters heat resistant, it does conduct I would say most of the heat through, so it won't keep glass or older more worn out granite from cracking and will harshly burn your hands or anything that touches it if the stove is at 500 degrees. Still need a trivet or pot holder for those pans on the counters / table. Oh well, it does cover the stovetop nicely. It also is made of silicone, so no BPA, Phthalates, PFAS, and I feel ok with my food and dishes making contact with it. I just wish they were really clear as to what the heat resistance refers to, as now I have an extra mat I really don't need, but I can keep it and I'm sure it will come in handy. It also does look nice on the stove, but I won't put it on the stove until the stove is completely cooled off, because if someone thinks their fingers are safe from a hot stove with this, they will be mistaken, and seeing a mat like this on it I think would basically communicate that it's safe. Just want the sellers to be more clear about this, that it still will conduct probably most or all of the heat, but the mat itself will be ok and not be damaged up to 500 degrees.

This stove cover is attractive. I like the ridges in the cover. It does feel a bit thin, compared to others I have seen. The product says it’s heat resistant up to 450 degrees. Maybe I should have checked the temp of the container before I sat it on the cover. I began to smell plastic burning and was able to get the pan off of it and remove it from the stove. You can see the burn in the pictures I’ve included. Outside of the burn, the product fit the stove well and looked good on the stovetop.

The size is perfect for the top of my metal workbench.Front to back, there is no over hang.Side to side allows the original bench top to be used either side. The cover is not sticky nor is it slick. It has some 'give' to it. It is heat resistant up to 450F according to specs. Also useful for it's intended purpose. Glass stove-tops have unique needs for cleaning and maintenance. My friend's stove top broke when a pot fell on it.I have the textured side down on the workbench. It works great as a tool mat.

This works well. It feels well made and it is easy to clean. I put it on my stove while it was cooling down and it was fine. It grips the stove nicely too, so you don't need to worry about it moving around if you put something on top of it. I like it, so I recommend it.

This works great! I should have gotten a larger size, but that’s on me for not measuring first. It is great to protect our glass cooktop. We don’t have a lot of counter space so I often use the cooktop for more space and have scratched it before. It’s easy to clean, plus makes the whole area a trivet for when I take stuff out of the oven. easy to roll up and move off to the side when I need to use the cooktop top. Thick and durable material too.

I have an electric stove that has a few rings I can never scrub off even after trying to use harsh cleaners. Having this mat makes me feel better about my kitchen because it hides the ugly parts. Just throw this on top and my kitchen is perfect again! it's a silicon mat, the perfect size for my stove, easy to roll up and store away and works great for what I needed.

I was excited about receiving the stove topper. I like the idea of my kitchen looking as clean and organized as possible. Because I do have a glass top stove, unfortunately there have been some Burns and knick's on the glass top so this was exciting. It fits perfectly based on the measurements that I took the measurements a specifications. The mat is not heavy, but it's heavy enough to stay stable. There are tiny little feet underneath to create a waft of flowing air, and I'm assuming that's for when you place hot items on it to keep it from overheating.Easily wipes off. I accidentally spilled some salsa and with the swipe of a dishcloth it was clean and dry within a matter of seconds.Looking forward to using this when I have guests over for dinner or the holidays because it does provide more space for me to place food and hide the not so aesthetically pleasing stove top.

I purchased this mat primarily as a cover for the stove top. I have cats, and as we all know they roam where they will and will adventure from the litter box to the stovetop, to the cabinet tops and windowsills, and anywhere they please when we're not looking. At least by using this cover I don't have to worry about smearing around whatever they stepped in when I wipe it down.Having a soft silicone mat also offers great protection. More than once I have had spoons, pots and ceramic bowls too hot to handle, slip and bang my glass stove top. Who know what breaking that glass might cost to repair. The silicon is heat resistant meaning it doesn't hurt to set a hot pot on it and very easy to clean. It can even be placed in the dishwasher.Overall, I'm very pleased with having this nice looking, protective cover for my glass stove.
