High quality construction OEM equivalent oil filter for my John Deere Kawasaki engine. I have been using these filters for several years as substitute for JD oil filters without problems. Quality o-ring seal and pleated filter (from cutting open canister post use). Excellent value compared to similar JD oil filter.

It's a little different height than my old one but same part number so that was strange, but the threads were the same and the diameter was the same so it has been working fine. You can also find this in a kit from Stens that comes with the oil you need or there is one that also includes the air filter and fuel filter as well. Seems to all be quality stuff and I've bought belts from Stens as well that are working great so far.

The box that the filter can in was pretty damaged,put there was no damage to the filter.

Filter is fine. I’ve used a number of the same filters over the years and never had any problems.The item arrived packed loosely in a box without a plastic bag or box of its own. Filters obviously need to be kept clean and free from contaminants, so this packaging is not ideal.

Needed to do an oil change on my X300, the dealer I normally buy the John Deere filter from was closed due to covid 19 so I thought I would try this. one. Looks identical, and fits perfectly. Less expensive also, I'll buy again when the time comes.

What can I say? It's an oil filter and it fit exactly like the original. If you find changing your oil and filter(s) a cathartic experience, then the Stens is an essential ingredient for your next therapy session.Looked, and felt exactly the same as the OE Kawasaki one it replaced - but for less coin.
