I got this to band lumber in storage to keep it from warping. You'll need clips and a crimping tool, this does not do it all. Handles could be a little longer, it's a fairly compact tool. Otherwise it works like it should.

This basing tool is made well. I use to use something like this when I worked at a lumber yard. This is a mini version of the one I used.It is smaller but it feels more heavy duty. It is durable and works well. This is easy to use and is a good value

This is a strapping tool. It can do it all so it’s an all in one tool. Have the banding now I can get to strapping. Good find. Tool looks solid.

I’ve had other low cost options that worked much better. Finish is poor but looks like it would get the job done. I truly doubt it will be very reliable.

Well made and durable tool, should last a very long time. Will tighten, clamp, and cut banding with just this one tool, which is nice. Worked well for me on both metal banding and nylon type banding although I needed a few practice runs first, since I hadn't used a banding tool in about 30 years. I am not really thrilled with the type of clip used with this tool, but these do seem to work okay, they are a little more expensive than the other style clips though. This is a good all in one tool, that is strong, does a good job, and is well worth the cost.
