Ok Just installed the remote start x on my 2017 Chevy Colorado.Installation was fairly easy as stated. But the decryption part was a bit of a challenge. But finally after 3 tries got it to work. Very happy with the product. Works as expected

Really easy to install. The worst part of the install was working in a tight space for the wiring. But that's to be expected in a dashboard install. The one thing I will say - they make it seem like it's plug and play - it's really not. You have to download a program to your PC and program the device. But it's pretty self-explanatory and takes about 10 minutes. It seems that some other car brands are plug and play, but this particular one is not. So it takes slightly more effort and requires a computer. Otherwise, zero complaints, works like a charm and easy to install.

I installed this on my 19 colorado and it works perfectly. Only issue I had was needing to run the decrypter tool 3 times because it froze the first two times. Third time worked perfectly. Its nice to be able to use existing fobs. Last thing to note is you have to push the lock button 3 times very slowly or it won't work. I purchased the long range of kit as well and I highly recommend. For $270 all in, it was cheaper than anywhere else.

It was slightly more difficult to get to the plugs in my truck than I expected but that's not the fault of this product. Followed the directions and everything works perfectly. It warns that the OEM key fob may not unlock the doors after the truck has been remote started but it still works on my 2021 Canyon.

After waiting an hr or so for for the DCRYPTOR to do its thing I gave up. After doing some research I believe the package I received was not for my 2019 Colorado. I followed the instructions completely, and even reset, and tried again with no luck!RETURN IT!

Like - easy to install the hardwareDislikes - though the box stated that the product was for a Colorado/Canyon, the software which programs the module stated that the product was for a Chevy Silverado. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with my difficulties. Anyway, after several attempts of programing the module, the truck failed to start even though I verified the install was complete through both written and website instructions. Returned.

Works just like an OEM remote start. Daytime running lights come on when started and vehicle stays on for 15 minutes. Installation is easy unless you're unable to follow easy instructions.A computer with windows is necessary for the dcryptor that is provided.*In order to start the vehicle, hit the lock button 3 times with a short pause between each time. Otherwise, the module will not recognize it and the vehicle won't start.Overall, super excited about having a remote start without an extra key fob!In case this matters to anyone, I installed this on a 2020 Chevy Colorado. It says it's good for GM models 15-21
